ACCOMMODATION - recommended hotels

The conference will be held in the Parc Hotel. Thus, this hotel is highly recommended for your stay, but the latter two hotels listed below are also within walking distance to the conference venue.

Please note that the rates for the following three hotels are special rates for participants of the International Conference of Zoo and Wild Animals 2012. To benefit from these rates, please refer to 'Zoovet Conference' when booking your hotel room.

These special rates have been agreed for the conference date (16th to 19th May 2012). If you are planning to arrive earlier than 16th May 2012 and/or to departure later than 19th May 2012, hotel rates on request and subject to availability.

In May, hotels in Italy are well-booked and thus, we recommend you to book your hotel room well in advance. Payment methods:
- by credit card: credit card number as guarantee for the booking is needed  
- by bank transfer: please first send an e-mail to garda@parchotels.it to   receive details for bank transfer and confirmation

Cancellation charges/policy for hotel bookings:
- In case of a cancellation more than 15 days prior to arrival, no cancellation   fee will be charged.
- For cancellations made 14 to 8 days prior to arrival, one night will be   charged.
- For cancellations made between 7 days prior to arrival to arrival day (no   show), 100 % will be charged.


Please also note that the following tourist taxes have to be paid locally:

- For 2 stars hotels (as the Residence Eden): 0.50 Euro per person/night
- For 4 stars hotels (as the Parc Hotel and Active Hotel Paradiso & Golf): 1.20   Euro per person/night
